Electronic (ETP/EPS) – sent directly from your GP surgery to our secure NHS system
Paper tokens with 2D barcodes – we scan these to retrieve your prescription details
Handwritten prescriptions – carefully checked and safely interpreted by our Pharmacist

Whichever format your prescription takes, we make sure it is valid, legal, and accurate before we continue.

2. Clinical Check

Every prescription is checked by a qualified Pharmacist. They will:

Confirm the medicine and dose are correct
Check for possible interactions with your other medicines
Take into account allergies, health conditions or special requirements

Your safety is always our top priority.

3. Dispensing

Once clinically approved, our team prepares your medicine using our barcode-enabled dispensing system, which helps to avoid or minimise errors at every stage.

Repeat prescriptions: we normally require 48 hours to process, although sometimes we can complete them sooner.
Stock availability: most medicines can be obtained within 48 hours. Some are available the same day, while others may take longer due to national supply issues.
Specials or rarely used items: these can take longer to arrive, but we’ll keep you updated.
