Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations Policy
At The Health Dispensary, your safety is our priority. Due to strict UK regulations governing the handling and disposal of medicines, we are unable to accept returns of medicines once they have been dispensed or dispatched, except in very limited circumstances outlined below.
1. Returns
For safety and regulatory reasons, we cannot accept the return of medicines (including prescription-only medicines, pharmacy medicines, and general sale medicines) once they have left our control, except where:
- We have supplied the wrong medicine, strength, or quantity; or
- The product is damaged or defective on arrival.
If you believe there has been an error with your order, or it has arrived damaged or defective, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible so we can investigate and advise on the next steps.
Please do not return any medicines unless we have specifically instructed you to do so. Returned medicines cannot be reused or resold and may require safe disposal in line with pharmacy regulations.
2. Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow up to 14 days from the date we confirm a refund is due for it to be processed and reflected in your account.
Refunds may be issued where:
- An order is cancelled before it has been clinically checked, dispensed, or dispatched;
- We are unable to supply the medicine (for example, due to stock availability or clinical suitability);
- We have supplied an incorrect, damaged, or defective product and agree that a refund is appropriate.
Where a refund is due as a result of our error, no delivery or return costs that we have asked you to incur will be deducted.
3. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only before they have been clinically checked, dispensed, or dispatched by our pharmacy team.
Once a pharmacist has reviewed or dispensed your order, or it has been shipped, the order cannot be cancelled, and medicines cannot be returned or refunded simply due to a change of mind.
To request a cancellation, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible with your order details. We will confirm whether cancellation is still possible at the time of contact.
4. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately with details of the issue and, where possible, clear photos of the product and its packaging.
We will assess the situation and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. You may be asked to retain the product and packaging for inspection or return it at our expense. Please do not dispose of any medicines unless advised to do so by our team.
5. Contact Us
