Who Can Get a Free NHS Flu Jab?

For the 2025/26 season, you may be eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination if you are:

• Aged 65 years or over (including those turning 65 by 31 March 2026)
• Aged 16 to under 65 in a clinical risk group (for example, with heart, lung, kidney, liver, or neurological conditions, diabetes, weakened immunity, or morbid obesity with other health risks)
• Pregnant at any stage of pregnancy
• An unpaid carer or in receipt of Carer’s Allowance
• A household contact of someone with a weakened immune system
• A frontline health or social care worker with direct patient contact
• Living in a long-stay residential care home

Please note: We provide flu vaccinations for adults only. Childhood flu vaccines are offered through schools and GP services.
